Reorder PDF Pages
Change the page order of a PDF by moving pages up or down, then download the reordered file. Runs entirely in your browser.
The file is processed in your browser only and is never sent to a server.
A free tool for changing the page order of a PDF. Upload a file, move pages up or down into the order you want using the arrow buttons, and download the rearranged PDF. Useful for fixing a scan that came out in the wrong order, moving a table of contents to the front, or reorganizing a combined document. Everything is processed entirely in your browser — your file is never uploaded to a server.

When is this useful?
- Fixing a scan in the wrong orderReorder pages from a scanner or app that produced them out of sequence.
- Moving a cover page or table of contentsMove a page that ended up in the wrong place — like a cover sheet or index — to the front or back.
- Reorganizing a combined documentAfter merging multiple files, reorder the resulting pages into a logical sequence.
Examples
- Moving the last page to the frontUse the up arrow repeatedly on the last page to move it to position 1, useful for putting a cover page first.
- Swapping two adjacent pagesMove page 3 down once to swap it with page 4 — a single click for adjacent reordering.
How this tool works
Pages are identified by their current page number, shown in a reorderable list — not a visual page-by-page thumbnail preview. Moving a page up or down swaps its position with its neighbor; repeat the action to move a page further. When you apply the new order, the tool rebuilds the PDF with the pages in your chosen sequence and lets you download the result.
Privacy and local processing
The entire reordering process happens in your browser using client-side PDF processing. Your file is never uploaded to a server, which also means very large files depend on your device's available memory.
Limitations
This tool reorders existing pages; it does not add, delete, or rotate pages (see the dedicated tools for those). It does not support encrypted PDFs that require a password to open.
Frequently asked questions
Can I move a page more than one position at a time?
Each click moves a page one position up or down. Click repeatedly to move a page further through the document.
Does this show a visual preview of each page?
No. Pages are identified by page number in a reorderable list, not a visual thumbnail. This keeps the tool fast even for large documents.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The entire process runs in your browser. Your PDF is never sent to a server.
Can I reorder an encrypted PDF?
Not if it requires a password to open. Remove the password first using a PDF tool that supports decryption, then reorder the pages.
What is the maximum file size?
Up to 100MB. Since processing happens on your device, very large files depend on your available memory.
