Delete PDF Pages
Remove pages or ranges from a PDF and get a new file without them. Runs entirely in your browser.
The file is processed in your browser only and is never sent to a server.
This tool removes selected pages from a PDF and creates a new file without them. You upload a PDF, see how many pages it has, and enter which pages to delete, for example a single page, a range, or a list (like 1-3,7). The remaining pages are kept in their original order. All processing happens in your browser: the file is never uploaded to a server, there is no sign-up, and there are no watermarks.

- A shorter versionCreate a trimmed version of a document by removing the pages a recipient does not need.
Examples

- Delete a rangeEnter 1-2 and get the file without the first two pages.
- Delete scattered pagesEnter 1,3,5 to remove only those pages while the rest are kept.
Tips for a better result
- Keep at least one pageAn empty PDF cannot exist, so the tool will not let you delete every page.
- Check the numberingThe tool shows how many pages the file has. Make sure you are deleting the right ones.
- Everything stays localYou can edit sensitive documents too: the file never leaves your device.
What the tool does
The tool reads the PDF, removes the pages you requested, and assembles a new PDF from the pages that remain, in their original order. It uses the pdf-lib library, which runs in the browser with no upload to a server. It is the opposite of the page-extraction tool: here you choose what to remove instead of what to keep.
How to write which pages to delete
You can enter a single number (1), a range with a hyphen (1-3), a comma-separated list (1,3,5), or a combination (1-3,7). The tool checks that the pages exist and warns you if an invalid range is entered or if you asked to delete every page.
Delete pages vs. split or extract pages
Use Delete PDF Pages when you want to keep most of the document and drop a few pages. Use Split PDF when you want the opposite: pull a chosen subset of pages out into a new file. To check the page numbers first, PDF Page Counter shows how many pages a file has before you start.
Privacy
All editing happens on your device only. The file is not sent to a server, nothing is stored on our side, and no sign-up is required.
Frequently asked questions
Is the file uploaded to a server?
No. The deletion runs in your browser only. The file does not go to the internet and is not stored on our side.
How do I enter which pages to delete?
A single number like 1, a range like 1-3, a list like 1,3,5, or a mix like 1-3,7.
Can I delete all the pages?
No. At least one page must remain, otherwise there is no PDF to download.
What is the difference between deleting pages and extracting pages?
When deleting, you choose which pages to remove and the rest are kept. When extracting (Split PDF), you choose which pages to keep.
Can I delete pages from an encrypted PDF?
A password-protected PDF may not load. It is best to remove the protection from the source first.
