What a QR code is
A QR code (Quick Response) is a two-dimensional barcode that holds information such as text, a web address, or contact details. Scanning it with a phone camera opens the information instantly, without typing.
What an error correction level is
The error correction level sets how much of the code can be damaged and still be readable. Level L corrects up to 7%, level M up to 15%, level Q up to 25%, and level H up to 30%. A higher level produces a denser code but a more durable one.

Does the QR code expire?
No. The generated code is static and contains the information directly. It stays valid forever, as long as the destination (for example the website) exists.

Can I create a colored QR code?
The current tool creates a black-and-white code, which is the most readable and reliable. Colored codes can scan less well.
