CSEC Exam Countdown
See how many days and weeks are left until your CSEC exam, using the date you enter. No official timetable used.
Enter your own exam date above. This tool does not use an official CXC exam timetable — dates change every year, so you enter the date that applies to you.
The countdown is calculated by calendar days, not exam-session start times. This tool does not include or imply any official CXC exam timetable, and Tooleem is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC). The calculation runs in your browser only; nothing you enter is sent to a server or stored.
A free CSEC exam countdown that shows how many days and weeks are left until your exam, using the date you enter yourself. This tool does not include or publish an official CXC exam timetable — exact exam dates change every year and vary by subject and sitting, so you always enter the date that applies to you. Add an optional exam name, get an instant days/weeks breakdown, and a short, generic pacing note based on how much time is left. Everything runs in your browser, and nothing you type is stored.

How to use this tool
- 01Enter your exam datePick the date of your own exam using the date field, or tap "Today" as a starting point and change it.
- 02Add an exam name (optional)Type what the exam is for, for example "CSEC Mathematics", to label the countdown.
- 03Read the countdownSee the days and weeks left (or, for a date that has passed, days since), plus a short pacing note.

Examples
- Two weeks outAn exam date 14 days from today shows "14 days left" and a note suggesting you prioritize weaker subjects and practice questions.
- The exam is todayEntering today's date shows "Your exam is today" with no pacing note.
- A date that already passedEntering a date in the past shows how many days have gone by since that date, useful for reviewing after results.
How the countdown is calculated
The tool converts your exam date and today's date to whole calendar days using UTC internally (so daylight-saving-time changes never cause an off-by-one day), then takes the difference. The result is shown as total days, plus a weeks-and-days breakdown.
Why there is no official CXC timetable here
CXC's exam timetable is published separately each year and varies by subject, paper, and territory. Rather than hardcode dates that would go stale (or require constant manual updates), this tool always uses the date you enter — check your own exam date against CXC's official timetable or your school before relying on it.
About the pacing notes
The short note shown (for example, suggesting a focus on weaker subjects inside two weeks) is a generic, general-purpose planning hint based only on how many days are left. It is not personalized study advice and does not account for your specific subjects, strengths, or school's guidance.
Non-affiliation
Tooleem is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC). For your official exam schedule, use CXC's published timetable or your school.
Privacy
The countdown is calculated in your browser. The exam name and date you enter are never uploaded, stored, or sent to analytics, and refreshing the page clears everything.
Frequently asked questions
Does this show the official CXC exam date for my subject?
No. You enter your own exam date. CXC publishes the official timetable separately each year — check that or your school for your exact date.
What happens if I enter a date that already passed?
The tool shows how many days have gone by since that date instead of days remaining.
Can I track more than one exam?
Yes, just change the date and exam name to check a different exam — the tool does not save previous entries, so re-enter each one when you want to check it.
Is this an official CXC tool?
No. Tooleem is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC).
Is my data saved?
No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.
