The timer counts down from your chosen duration to zero, and stays accurate over time because it checks against the device clock instead of counting blindly. Pause and resume at any point, or reset and start over. When it finishes, a "Time's up" screen appears, with a gentle beep if sound is on. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is saved or sent to a server.

The activity name, if you enter one, stays in your browser only — it is never saved or sent to a server or analytics. Refreshing the page resets the timer.

Yes, a gentle beep when time runs out, and you can mute it with the speaker button. Sound only activates after you press Start.
