Tips for a better result
- This does not include National InsuranceGrenada payslips also deduct National Insurance Scheme contributions. This tool estimates income tax only, so your actual net pay will be lower than the "net income" figure shown here.
Formula and how the calculation works
Chargeable income is your annual gross income minus the XCD 36,000 personal allowance. The portion of chargeable income that keeps gross income at or below XCD 60,000 is taxed at 15%, and any amount of gross income above XCD 60,000 is taxed at 30%. The tool sums the tax from each band to get total estimated tax, then subtracts that from gross income for an estimated net income.
Current rates, threshold, and official source
The Inland Revenue Division (ird.gd) administers personal income tax in Grenada. The Ministry of Finance Grenada (finance.gd) confirms the XCD 36,000 annual personal allowance, above which employees, sole traders, and partners must file. Chargeable income from XCD 36,000 to 60,000 is taxed at 15%, and above XCD 60,000 at 30% — this band structure is cross-checked against secondary tax guides, since the Inland Revenue Division's own detailed rate table was not directly confirmed in this research pass. Verify the exact XCD 60,000 boundary against ird.gd before a filing decision. Current as of 2026. Tooleem is not affiliated with the Inland Revenue Division.
Assumptions and what is not included
This estimate covers income tax only. It does not include National Insurance Scheme (NIS) contributions or other allowances, credits, and deductions an individual filer may qualify for. Actual net pay will differ from the "net income" figure shown here.
